Byredo Parfums is a relatively young perfume company which was founded in 2006 and has become famous for its niche aromas in perfume, body care and home fragrance products.

Mojave Ghost perfume is named after one of the most arid deserts in the world, which occupies parts of California, Nevada, Utah and Arizona in the United States. The term Mojave originates from the Spanish language which is a short version of an original Mohave Tribunal Nation’s Hamakhaave, which means ‘beside the water’. Ghost flower, or Mohavea confertiflora, is the native flower of Mojave Desert which blossoms from March to April and is close to being a miracle in the barren and hard grounded landscapes. The Ghost flower maintains its beauty and thrives year after year even though it does not produce the nectar but uses mimicry to attract the pollinators of the other plants which are growing nearby. This action is evoking female bees and also seduces male bees to join the following suit, thus it still participates in the organic evolution. As Byredo Parfums states, Mojave Ghost is inspired by the human-like behaviour and the captivating tale of the survival of the magic flower.

No surprise, the floral and powdery accords are the winners of the scent. The top notes of the perfume are ambrette and Jamaican nesberry, followed by violet, sandalwood and magnolia at heart and finished with chantilly musk, crisp amber and cedarwood at base. A floral proposition with a touch of wood suits both men and women, thus can silently borrowed from a partner without a notice.

Try it on your skin at one of the Byredo Parfums stockists around the world http://byredo.com/en/content/view/store-locations and treat yourself with a bottle of fresh scent for a new beginning.
