Calvin Klein hosted a cocktail party at Spencer House in London last night to celebrate the launch of the brand’s newest fragrance and campaign, OBSESSED Calvin Klein. British supermodel Kate Moss – the face of the campaign – and photographer and director Mario Sorrenti, who shot the campaign, were both in attendance at the event.
OBSESSED is the re-invention of an iconic CALVIN KLEIN fragrance, Obsession, which originally launched in 1985. In 1993, Obsession was reignited with an advertising campaign shot by Mr. Sorrenti starring his then girlfriend and muse, Ms. Moss. Today, as the legendary campaign approaches its 25th anniversary, the OBSESSED campaign utilizes never-before-seen imagery of Ms. Moss by Mr. Sorrenti from the 1993 shoot.
The campaign is meant to evoke the idea of memory, past love and present iconography.
OBSESSED for Women is an oriental aromatic green fragrance created by perfumers Honorine Blanc and Annick Menardo of fragrance house Firmenich. OBSESSED for Men is an oriental woody amber fragrance created by perfumers Ilias Ermenidis of Firmenich and Christophe Raynaud of fragrance house Firmenich.
