The 31st Riga Fashion Week took place from October 29 to November 2, hosting fashion shows by top Latvian fashion artists and designers from abroad, as well as various business-oriented and entertaining events, one of which – aimed at young talent support.
On the first day of this RFW, the Baltic Fashion Federation in cooperation with the shopping mall Spice and Printify announced a campaign to support young talents studying at the Latvian Academy of Arts. Those interested had an opportunity to help emerging fashion designers by purchasing exclusive RFW Limited Edition T-Shirts designed by renowned Latvian designers – Dace Krievina-Bahmane (brand Dace Bahmann), Anna Ledskalnina (brand Anna Led), Julia Malahova (brand MCouture), Agnese Narnicka (brand One Wolf), Marina Doroshenko (brand ArtJam.me) – in the RIGA FASHION WEEK pop-up store in the shopping mall Spice. During the campaign, 2 000 EUR were raised which will be transferred to most successful in studies and active student of the Masters program of the Academy – Elina Baltace – in order to help her to create the graduation collection.

This fall the main RFW shows took place in a newly reconstructed building of Hanzas Perons where the spring-summer 2020 collections were presented by the following Latvian fashion brands: MCouture, Katya Katya London, Nolo, Anna Led, Bergs Prive, Amoralle, Natalija Jansone, Noname Atelier, this season’s newcomer – Selina Keer, kids fashion brands – Aristocrat Kids, Baronessa and Rock and Mouse, as well as four foreign brands – Caterina Moro from Italy, Diana Arno and Marimo from Estonia and Zefyras from Lithuania.

Own presentations and performances outside the main RFW podium were organised by Ksenia Danilova Hats, Mareunrol’s, One Wolf and Sin on the Beach.

The Coyote Fly Lounge Club traditionally hosted two public events: on November 1 – RFW Party with Volga Vintage Fashion Show, and on November 2 – RFW Party with a fashion show by the students of the Latvian Academy of Arts (Laine Rosensteina, Milana Felicija Semjonova, Anna Jurjane, Tereze Steinbluma, Laura Luize Valtere).
