It is already known that Alexander Wang likes interesting collaborations, for instance, with fast-fashion retailer H&M or his 8 piece life-style collection with OBJECTS. This time he has designed 3 piece furniture set for well-known Italian furniture label Poltrona Frau. The creative director of Balenciaga referred that he developed an interest in interior design while decorating his own home. The set that Wang designed consist of two black shearling and leather beanbags as well as black bar cabinet with brass shelves. The beanbags, each for $8,800 and the mini-bar, which costs $18,500 create a connection between luxury and ordinary. Designer showed that even daily used thing, as a beanbag, can also look fancy and create exceptional atmosphere at home.
