We’re back again after a little break, which was necessary since the adaptation process is really tough in Argentina. As we are moving all around the world, this time SwO got into the heart of Argentina – Buenos Aires. There are so many things to enjoy, so we’ll try to share some of the favorite ones with all of you, guys!

The first thing you can’t miss is “dulce de leche” which is basically caramel, but twice better and absolutely addictive. I’m quite sure that the majority of you has tried it and most probably fell in love with it, so if you’ve ever wondered how to make it by yourself, there’s a very easy recipe right in front of you:

Ingredients:

1 liter of milk

300g sugar

½ teaspoon of baking soda

Vanilla essence

Preparation:

  1. Put everything in a saucepan and boil it over a medium heat until milk starts boiling
  2. Continue boiling over low heat, stirring all the time, until the milk evaporates and brings light brown color
  3. When brown color comes up and the consistency thickens, remove the saucepan from the heat and put the consistency in a glass bowl

Can it be any easier?!

Here are some light and sweet “dulce de leche” inspired looks found while searching for a recipe:
