In celebration of Casio’s upcoming 35th anniversary, Casio G-SHOCK announced a special, limited edition GOLD TORNADO collection. Featuring three classic G-SHOCK models, the commemorative collection was designed with brilliant gold colour accents against the brand’s signature black and red colour scheme.

The collection includes Master of G GRAVITYMASTER, G-STEEL and FROGMAN timepieces, which each boast monolithic black bodies with bright red on the inside band and signature stamp “SINCE 1983” on the watch face. Additionally, each model features non-reflective sapphire glass and gold ion plating on the main metal parts including the bezel, case, and screws, further representing the brand’s aspiration to astonish and delight their fans with each new release.

On the back, each case is engraved with the 35th-anniversary logo designed by world-renowned graphic artist Eric Haze. The strap keeper includes a star emblem signifying the brand’s 35 years, and each watch will be sold in a special gold-coloured packaging.

The GRAVITYMASTER GPW2000TFB-1A boasts Triple-G resist, next-generation Connected Engine 3-Way and Tough Solar capabilities in a 51.7mm case. The G-STEEL GSTB100TFB-1A incorporates lightweight, rigid carbon fiber bezel and boasts automatic time adjustment capabilities in a 53.8mm case. The FROGMAN GWFD1035B-1 is a pro-grade diver’s watch with radio frequency, wave reception, log data, a digital compass, thermometer, moon data and tide graph in a 53.3mm case.

Each model also comes equipped with standard G-SHOCK technology of shock resistance and 200M water resistance, as well as world time, dual time display, neo-brite luminous hands, an LED super illuminator light, daily alarm, a full auto calendar, stopwatch and countdown timer, and automatic date update capabilities.

Beginning in December 2017, the GSTB100TFB-1A will retail for $750 USD, the GPW2000TFB-1A for $900 USD and the GWFD1035B-1 for $1,100 USD. We cannot wait to take a closer look at these!
